Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's after midnight, on the last day of the year... soooo many sweeps expiring.. If any of you use the Sweeps Software, it shows a little yellow lantern next to the ones that are expiring that day. mannnnnnnnn at the yellow lanterns!!! ha

Oh well, the good side (and you gotta always look for that, right?) is that once all these sweeps end, we'll have lots of winners!!!!!!

To anyone else who feels the same way about today.. hold my hand.. we'll make it through this together... haha
 
I am sad too lol. Hey with so many instant wins ending tonight, in the past years have others popped up after the 1st to replace the ones that expired. I know when summer ended other new ones began but with a new year I was wondering if that will happen?

I havent even looked at them.. I just decided im going to really get back in to doing my sweeps after the new year :laughing: I will do my instants and the dailies I have saved but havent looked at new or expiring in.... weeks.
 
It's a big deal because not only is it the end of the month - it's the end of the year!! To me it felt good, like spring cleaning...it felt good to get rid of all the old stuff, and it's time for them to pick winners soon!!

I've been working on the ending ones for the past few days, so today I'm in good shape! I just finished all the dailies, and the ones timers are done. I'll do the instants soon.

I hope they'll replenish our instants. Quite frankly I'm pretty tired of the ones that are expiring anyway!

That is pretty much where I have been at! :laughing: :laughing: Hopefully the new year will be more "profitable"
 
It's just that there are so many at the end of the month/year...for those of us who may not be able to keep up with them every day, it's a lot of stuff to go through to make sure you haven't missed anything good :)
 
I have some days during the month that I have 20+/30+ sweepstakes expiring on any given day. Added up, I have more expired during the month than what expires the last day of the month.

Everyday I delete the sweepstakes from Roboform that expire for that day, and almost everyday there are sweepstakes that expire; i.e. 12/1, 12/2, 12/3, etc. One day, I had 24 that expired; another, 10, and so on.

So, if someone is going through just the ones that expire on 12/31, they've missed all the other ones that expired during the course of the month? :scratch:
 
Oh...I see. I delete the ones on Robo as they expire too...I only do dailies on robo. The ones I'm mostly talking about are One Entry sweeps. Sometimes there will be a few days when I haven't done them in awhile, and I know I've missed some. I'm going to try to go through the new one entry sweeps daily in the new year so it's not such a pain at the end of the month.

Also, I go through the weeklies at the end of the month to make sure I haven't missed any, and just in general look through everything.
 
If I'm not home to go through the newly posted ones, I do them on the next day I'm home.

I have seen someone post a good point about one drawback of going through them at the end of the month. Sometimes, there are sweepstakes that you enter for once, and they pick out winners from that daily, weekly, etc., until it ends. So, those types, a person would be missing out on prizes.

I'd go bonkers going through that many! :crazytongue:
 
I just now finished all the expiring ones and all my dailies! Yay! Now I just need to actually WIN a daily entry sweep....
 
Yeah, I mostly check for ones I missed.

I have run into some good one entry ones that were ending that had daily winners, and of course, was very upset to find those. That is the advantage of entering them shortly after they post. I'll add that onto my goals for the new year.

When i remember, I use SA's power search, using DAILY or WEEKLY or MONTHLY PRIZES in the Description, and since I use SweepsCheck to mark those I've already entered/will pass on, it's a breeze to check!!!
 
Well I can see some people understand what I mean and others don't at all hahaha I wrote a book on the way that I enter sweeps, and I input the dailys and instant wins into a free program called "Sweeps". you then put the date in for the day it ends. So, DUH some of them end almost every day h a so you go and delete them, and add new ones, etc. etc.

What I get a tad sad about each year is the last day of the YEAR, when there are about 40 or 50 of them expiring all at once.. some of them I've literally been entering every day for an entire year. It makes it go from about 180 or so I enter every day, down to 130 that I enter every day ha

The upside, of course, is that now that they have all expired they will be picking winners soon so there will be lots of winners on all of them!

Those who enter sweeps for hours every day and keep close tabs on when each one expires.. understand what I mean ha

Many big wins to all in 2009!
 
I put mine in robo, also putting the end date...it's simple that way to keep track of them.

Hey queensef...I can't help but notice how many instant wins you're hitting...what time do you typically play your instants?
