Many people don't enter voting contests, because of cheaters and the work involved, but let me assure you, this was a win for the good guys today as I didn't use fake accounts, they disqualified people who did, that's how I won!!

I have been privy to a few contests now where this has happened, they are getting hip to the cheaters, so don't be discouraged w/these, you could win too!! :) Good contest karma to all...
 
Good for you! I'm glad to hear that the cheaters are being found out now. I've entered a few voting contests, made the finals twice, but no wins. Have fun with that much deserved moola.

I think it's like with anything new - there is a learning curve the first adopters deal with that ultimately makes it better for the latecomers - that said, I'd stick to well known companies for a bit yet, while they continue to work out the kinks!

Me personally, I don't enter them because they are just too much work, and I was never a popular kid. :whistle: I could take the rejection I guess, but the trade off in time just isn't worth it to me. :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
Congrats briannimal - great win! You were voting for me and in case you didn't see my post under "general", I missed mine by 17 votes, and they actually awarded all 3 finalists a new website and gave me a 50% off offer. Amy's right, they are a lot of work - I got behind on everything else in my life LOL.
