VIRUS alert!!

last nite i was on the coach color tag leaderboard going to each blog site and checking their tag..picked up virus from one of them..bad on mcafee did not catch it for hours even with scan by then it had chewed up my ancient hard drive..and am on new computer tonite..am hoping son in law can rig old hard drive up and download my files or ill be starting over collecting sweeps!! :cry: :cussing:
 
I had a computer eaten by a virus so I know how frustrating it can be. If you use sweepscheck all your sweeps you enter on SA are still there for you regardless of the computer you use. If you collect others sweeps on you own .... utoh! :error:
 
So sorry to hear it. I use google/chrome to sync all my bookmarks so I can get them from any computer via my e-mail. If I lost all of my sweeps, I'd scream so loud that "Curiosity" would hear me on mars :laughing: Good Luck to ya.....
 
Yea McAfee is a pitiful anti virus program. I would never pay for it again. I had virus problem and went to their online help, and they screwed my pc all up, then they said we can't help you, the problem is within your pc and we can't fix. But, the tech that was working on my problem, e-raised some of my IE programs and FF programs, most important, my favorites files, now I can't get them back. McAfee sucks, and they will screw your PC up and then want you to pay them to fix it.
