So, yesterday I won a roundtrip ticket on Virgin American Airlines. I received an email today saying I had to print up the affy, have it notarized and RECEIVED BY THEM in 5 days. How in the world can I ensure that? What do y'all do? Do you send it express?

I faxed and then sent Federal Express - that way you can track it and you will know who signed for the package - you have proof it was delivered.

If you have a scanner you can ask if they will accept a scanned affy attached to an email and you can request they email you back to confirm the receipt of it. Cheaper and faster than Fedex or if you don't have a fax.
 
Congrats on the win! I have sent an affy overnight express US postal service as well as Fedex. Hope you get it back to them in time! :)
 
I won one of these from American Airlines once. I just sent it regular mail and it was fine. Congratulations.
 
Well, I went with FedEx. $23.00!! Yikes. Oh well. It won't be the first time I have to go there, right? :-) The interesting thing is: Right before heading over to FedEx, I ran home to pick something up. I followed the FedEx guy into our neighborhood. I followed him all the way to my house! I thought perhaps it might be the carpet shampooer or the BluRay player...but nooooo, it was another affidavit for another prize - my biggest yet! I'll post the details when it all goes through! In the last 4 days, I have won a 20.00 Chili's egift card (and they have free kids' meals today!), the Virgin American airlines ticket, I received my Bausch and Lomb tote bag and the big win today! Suddenly, the people at my house are much more interested in my "little hobby!"
