ViralSweep not working for me

For the past 2 days, I can't get any ViralSweep entries to register. If the entry is a "visit this website for 1 entry," for example, I visit the website but don't get the entry. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried different browsers too.

I don't think I had the same issue, but a diff issue with Viral Sweep.... I'd click "submit" and it would just spin and spin and spin. I gave up on those for a while and recently went back to check and they worked again. No clue what the issue was! Sorry to hear
 
Anyone still having issues with this or know a fix for it? I have been having this issue for a couple of weeks now. I don't want to waste time entering viralsweep contests if the entries aren't being registered.
 
Here's what worked for me: I use Brave Browser, and entry forms on some sites won't even appear until I turn off Brave Shields. It's an ad blocker, but my thinking is that if they are giving away something I want, they should make ad revenue off my visit. The second problem I ran into recently is sites being blocked by my Malwarebytes Browser Guard extension. This does a lot more than block ads and with some trial and error, I discovered one blocked item that was preventing entry forms: www.googletagmanager.com. I whitelisted this on the affected sites and everything started working again. YMMV since everyone uses different browsers and antivirus software, but maybe this will give you something to check. I feel like I have been blacklisted by Viralsweep. I opened a private browser tab and had someone else enter and entries showed up like they should. I opened another private browser tab, entered my information and entries are not counting. When I try to enter a new Viralsweep contest it will show my 1 initial entry, but if I do any of the extra entries and it still just shows 1, and then I click on show entries and it shows '1f'. This is on all Viralsweep contests for me.

It seems to me that my email is being blocked. The only reason I could think of would be because of entering too many contests...
 
At least on Steamy Kitchen, you can take the first entry, then click for the extra. Then go back to the first page and refresh your screen. It seems like you may get unlimited entries then? They have a post that they are trying to fix it.

I suspect that you don't really get the first entry. If we are on the blacklist and the first entry that appears to register is drawn, I imagine it would be disqualified when they checked their list. I understand platforms have to have safeguards against bots and spamming accounts but when they have the parameters set so tight it blocks legitimate flesh and blood people playing by the rules, that's a problem.
 
Such a suspicious error. Viral Sweep was working for me just fine for the past couple weeks, and in fact, even 5 minutes before I began getting errors it worked. Then began the 404 errors which eventually turned into 400 errors.
After pausing my adblocker and having no luck, eventually I just downloaded Firefox browser and the same links are now working for me. Now, If it starts to not register or giving me 404s again then I think this Sweeper-stition might have some bite to it.

I have the same issue for all viralsweep sweepstakes
 
This issue started for me around 2 weeks ago. Viralsweep contests I entered before this issue appeared are still working fine. Wonder if this was fixed eventually for the commenters from last year.

Nope, still does the same thing for me. I have quit entering any contests hosted by Viralsweep.
 
The issue has been fixed for me, maybe because of the fact that I reported it to two sites that are hosting such contests.
