very first win... after months of sweeping

Congrats on the win! But actually, if you have only been sweeping a couple of months it is way to early to be discouraged. :whistle: You need to keep in mind that first the sweeps you enter have to end (some go on for months), then they have to draw the winner (sometimes they don't do that for weeks after the end date), and then they have to notify the winner (that can be a month or more after the name is drawn). Sooooo, you may have other wins already coming, you just don't know it yet! :laughing:
 
Congrats on your win, as they say here on SA a win is a win. I have not won anything other than halls and credit monitoring which I am grateful for, but I see people who just started sweeping after me, winning some really awesome prizes I feel the same as you, thinking I am doing something wrong as well.

thanks for the encouraging words! i do try and do these about 5 times a week.... but just dont know when or if it will ever pay off... but it is fun looking for new sweeps! keep on keepin on! thanks again guys

:sunny: congrats and I couldn't agree more w/the posting a few down about the length of time the sweeps run and then the usual 6-8 weeks after it closes, for prizes and if they r on schedule etc.... My suggestion is to just don't constantly keep it in your head... just play them daily and they will add up. Plus you will probably win some w/out even knowing you won. My first win came by UPS and I had no idea I won till it arrived at my door... it is those little surprises that excite ya and keep ya going. Small wins can and do add up ... good luck!!

As others have said, dont get discouraged. The sweeps motto is "Enter It and Forget It".
I've been sweeping for several years now and my 2nd year doing this I didnt win anything from Jan till June.
I was really dicourgaged but I kept going and the next year, I had several good wins including 1500 from an online radio contest.

Congrats on Your Win! That is awesome. I faithfully enter on this site, last year 2009 won 2 Grand Prize Trips! In 2010, won 3 Gift Cards and other small things. All I can say is keep the faith! Keep Sweeping! :wave:
