Be aware of bee and wasp nest building around the places your delivery people leave packages. Wasps can build a nest within a matter of days, and won't hesitate to swarm.
After I found a wasp nest, I roped off my front steps until we could spray to be safe. And wouldn't ya know it, the ups guy brought a package.
