Hey all, I was wondering why I got out of bed this morning. Of course I wasn't thinking that until I got in an accident this morning. Like I don't have enough to deal with and to top it off, I was borrowing my sisters car at the time, Oh Joy!! Luckily, it was an older car that me and my hbby were working on for her, just spent $500 on it last thursday. The accident was not my fault but boy did it hurt, never been in one before. Went to the hospital and just got home, I was told tomorrow will be painful. I will have a bad case of whiplash and body aches. I was wearing my seat belt and I had just dropped off the kids at school , so at least they weren't there. The lady ran a red light and smack right into my little ole self, But at least I am able to still do my instant wins, Yah!! Oh well gonna go, time for my loopy pills, hope they work. :sunny:

Update 05/25/08


Update : went to doctors and everythng is looking pretty good, except for headache problems. I have to give it a little more time and go back on the 20th of next month to see if we need a cat scan. Doctor was very surprised that the hospital didnt give me one since I had had a head injury. Still having some dizzy spells but I am now keeping a journal of my headaches and dizziness. Thanks everyone for all your support. :sunny:

:wave: So happy to hear that you weren't seriously hurt and that the kids weren't with you. I can't believe how many crappy drivers there are out there. I am always on the lookout for them. Hopefully you won't have any long term pain. Here's hoping you win something great to help you feel better! :cheers:

blord, sweetie, I was thinking about you today for some reason. I hadn't seen you on here in a while and had been wondering how you and hubby were doing.

So glad you are alive and not hurt more than you are :love: Take those pills and rest! Here's hoping you get a big fat win!! :cheers:

Hi all, thanks for all the support ya'll are great. I was gonna post yesterday but its hard to type when your loopy. I am getting better each day , still very sore. My only problem is my head. I am having headaches that go into my face and teeny tint dizzy spells, I am going to make a doctors appointment to get it checked out. Hope they say I am fine. On another note, they totaled my sisters car out but are hopefully gonna give her enough for it, also they are gonna give the $500 we just put in it back too, so that its good for her. She wants to fix up her other car for me to drive, I must have the worlds greatest sister. I told her not to do it because I already fell awful but she just tells me to hush. Who knows, maybe I will win one through the S.A. sweeps and then she can worry about herself for once, she is so special that she needs to take care of herself for a change, cause if anything happens to her, I would be crushed. She is the best. Thank you guys for thinking of me . I will repost as i get better and after docs appointment. :sunny:

:sunny: Thanks for the update. You really do need to do a followup with your doctor. You really are lucky to have such a great sister.
 
Here is another update, I went to rehab today to help with my headaches. Tha Rehab lady was so nice . She did some exercises with my neck to see if that is why I am having these bad headaches , but unfortunatly it seems that my headaches might be from something else. She wants me to get a catscan before we go any further. I hope they find something out soon, i have kept a headache since the accident but I have never had a headache this bad. I am also getting dizzy still and having nausea. I will repost when I find out more, thanks for all the support. :sunny:

Blord.... I just came across this thread... I'm soooo sorry about your accident... those are very scary.... but i am glad you are up, walking and able to get online when u can.... as for your sister... she sounds like a jewel.... you are blessed 2 have a good sister, i'm sure you already know that.... please keep us updated on how you are doing with your head trauma..... those are not anything you want to let go on... please go into the doc and make sure you aren't suffering from anything long term.... here's 2 wishing you well
