I got this letter in mid March that I had won a Big Valley DVD set.
Congratulations!

You have won yourself a copy of The Big Valley on DVD via

All you need to do now is mail us a check for $6 to pay for shipping and

I checked my records and Cinema Sources shipping policy, and indeed I did enter their sweeps via email, and they do ask for the winners to pay shipping.
Well, Since I sent the check for shipping on 3/16/2007, they haven't sent the dvd and don't return emails. Has anyone else had similar problems? Are they a contest scam? :smt017 :smt102

Thats not right :smt010 I havent won from them. Im sorry they arent doing the right thing. I hope you get it worked out. Let us know. I think I will quit entering their sweeps at least until I know if they give you your win.good luck to ya.

hey did you get the dvd?I just got an email that I won the wkrp season 1 dvd. they ask for 4.00 shipping. I dont mind sending the money if I get the dvd.

No, I haven't received the Big Valley Dvd set or any communication regarding my inquiry about the shipping payment. Did they ask you to send payment to the address I noted in my post? And did your cinema source prize notification have a UK email address from a guy named Benjamin Lee? :smt017

Thats the address. but the email had a different name and not from uk. I dont know what to do. I want that dvd. :smt009

Who wouldn't want a WKRP Dvd that show was awesome! Send them the money, see what happens. in my experience,, the odds of getting Big Valley from Cinema Source for $6.00 in postage are less than the odds of getting a hostage video from an umbrella group to Al Jazeera, CNN, or posted on a website I do not frequent, are greater than a cinema source sweeps media follow through.

Good luck with your WKRP cinema source win! I must have entered a dozen other WKRP contests, that show is a keeper! :smt004
