Twizzlers Prizes???? UPDATE!!!

Has anyone received their prizes from Twizzlers yet??? I won the GPS on Aug 1 and havent seen it yet....just wondering..Thanks.

I just received this email:

The hershey sweepstakes Company appreciates your participation in our promotions. I apologize for the delay in responding to you about your prize-winning claim in the TWIZZLERS Landmark Summer Game and any confusion this has caused. Due to the prize unavailability at this time, we are sending you a check for $138.00, the value of the prize. You should get your check in 10 to 14 days.

I wont complain about not getting the GPS...LOL

I won one of the map park guides from Twizzlers and haven't received it yet - I won August 1st also

I didn't win from this IW, but I won on a previous IW sponsored by hershey and the prize seemed to take a long time to arrive (long enough that I had written it off as a no show by the time it did arrive), so they're probably leaning closer to the 8 week mark of the 6-8 weeks, and its probably based on when the contest ended rather than when you won.

me and my dad both won cameras and got them over a month ago, he won the day after i did but his came 2 weeks after mine. good luck.

I also won the GPS Unit on the August 1st. I guess there was a glitch and too many winners. They're still trying to sort things out ... I guess. My son won the GPS the day after and already received it. I'm still waiting to hear if they will honor the win. Good Luck.

So I emailed Hersheys and never heard back so I called...I talked to a really sweet lady and told her i had a screenshot of the win and she is going to contact who ever is in charge of the contest and see what can be done....I told her I couldnt attach the screenshot because there was no place to attach it, but i will send whom ever needs it a copy...So fingers crossed that i hear some good news...I will update when i hear something else =)

Some Sweeps won't Send out the Prizes until after the sweeps has ended. I won a camera from American Family Bingo and even though the email said it would send out the prize in 8 to 10 weeks, the Official rules said it would send the prizes out once the sweeps ended. So even though you won on Aug. 1st you might have to wait a little longer to receive your prize.

I won the National Parks Guidebook on 7/14 and got it sometime mid-September I think.....
