How do I find out how to operate Twitter. I joined but only know how to post a tweet from another site...like a sweepstakes Twitter request. I thought I might as well learn how to really do it. Thanks for info, anyone.

This link seems to be of some use! In my own words, well, go to twitter.com.
In the upper top right corner it says "Tweet". Click that, and a box will open that says compose new tweet.

To retweet or favorite a tweet, the favorite is the "star symbol" click that it will add it, the tweet, to your favorites list.

The biggie for most sweeps on twitter is retweet (I think, but I don't enter twitter sweeps).
Go to a page with the sweepstakes you want find the individual tweets, you'll see the star symbol
on the right, and the two arrows symbol on the left under the tweet. To retweet click the two arrows.

To reply is the one arrow click that and type.

This is a really fast how to. I hope it is of some use to you. ANYONE else feel free to add to it as I'm lacking time to type a lot more!

Just hover over the symbols mentioned and what it is will show up,good luck!
 
Thanks...I'll give it a try soon. I just want to have it available for sweeps that require it or ask for it to enter. I want to see what the hullabaloo is all about! Thanks for your help, doll38...GL
 
My knowledge of twitter is very limited, lol, but You're welcome beedyr ...Good Luck to you also! :)
I would recommend checking the twitter email box too often if you enter the twitter sweeps.
If You are tweeting a specific person or page or company use the @ sign on twitter and their handle(screen name) then write the message.
Oh yeah, usually I think you have to follow the company of the sweepstakes you enter so they can message you if you win!
