TWC Exclusives Win

Hey everybody, I'm pretty new to this, but I recently won the TWC Imagine Yourself at The Image Awards sweepstakes. Has anybody ever won a prize like this? They say that they provide a hotel room for 3 nights, but I'm wondering what kind of room it will be. They also say that transportation will be provided, maybe a town car or a limo? Also, I'm super intimidated by the whole red carpet thing. Has anyone ever been to an event like this? Any advice, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on your win! I have won a few trips and have always received the best accommodations, such as Hilton and Loew's. Transportation could be a van with several other people or a limo. I've received both. Rest assured it will be first rate. Companies can't afford the negative publicity of treating their prize winners poorly.
 
You should read the "trip wins" thread on the forum of this website (under "General sweepstakes talk tab). You'll see that trip wins are pretty much always a blast!
 
Congrats! Relax and enjoy your win. The fulfillment company or sponsor will send you an itinerary and work with you to make arrangements for your trip. Typically, high end hotels are booked and all tips and other things are provided, but you will have to check to make sure as to what is and what isn't included. Make a list of questions you have and email them to whomever notified you that you won. They'll help you through the process.
 
Thank you so much everyone! yaoughta, so far I have only spoken with a rep from the firm that handled the paperwork to confirm my eligibility. I'm still waiting to hear from the TWC rep, but they said I should be hearing from them by this Thursday. The lady at the firm didn't really know anything about the details of the prize, itinerary, etc. Thanks for the advice though, now I'm going to have a list of questions ready when they call! :cool:
 
TWC is great. I've won a couple grand prizes from them. They really take care of you so, you'll be fine. I won a L.A. contest and they put us up in the W Hotel in Hollywood; the rooms go for around $350/night. They offered limo serviceto the hotel. So yes, TWC will take really good care of you.
