Congrats! I saw him a few years ago and it was great. You'll have a great time! See if you can extend the trip and make it a vacation. They're already paying for the flight and two nights in a hotel, but you can ask if the flights could be arranged to arrive a few days early or leave a few days later. You'd have to pay for the additional hotel days, but you could do other things while you're out there, such as Disney Land, Universal Studios, Hollywood, etc. Sometimes, I stayed in the same hotel even though I wouldn't normally (because of the cost) and other times, I checked out and went and stayed at cheaper hotels to be able to get out and do other things. For example, the might book you at a luxury hotel with a rate of $500 a night. If you stayed two additional nights on your own dime, that would be $1000 out of your pocket. Sometimes, that can be a lot of fun, but it might be just as fun to check out and check into an okay hotel down the street at $250 per night. It's a great way to plan a vacation using less money than it would have taken you otherwise.
