:sunny: For those of you still holding giftcards that you aren't going to use or can't find a trade here, try going to www.swapagift.com You can trade your card for one that you will use or sell it.

Account Suspended is another one that will let you trade or buy your card from you. Looks like they pay a better rate than swapagift.

I just had a very good experience selling a card at:

http://www.cardcash.com

They're the same company as:

http://www.ABCGiftCards.com

I have another site in my bookmarks that I've never used, and know nothing about, so I'm not recommending it. I'm just putting it out here if anyone's interested:

Re: Swapagift.com

Thanks for the link. That may come in handy. maybe we should make this a sticky. whatcha think?

Re: Swapagift.com

:sunny: ok, it's a sticky. I just happened to see this site on the morning news and thought of some of the people here that had some cards that were kind of hard to get rid of. Sure beats doing nothing with them.

Coinstar (instantly exchange gift cards for cash)

I did a google search trying to find someplace to swap 2 gift cards I won, and stumbled onto Coinstar. It stated on the web site, "Instantly exchange gift cards for cash", must have at least a $20 balance. My gift cards are small amounts, but I know others could use this. Coinstar has Kiosks that does the exchanging. Here is the link

Thanks for telling us. Any example of how much (discount) they pay for gift cards? Their website just says visit a kiosk for a quote. There was another local place that offered instant cash for gc's and they offered very low percentages of face value.

GiftCardRescue is no more:

https://www.giftcardrescue.com/

GiftCardRescue is Now Closed

To Our Customers:

It is with great sadness that I am informing you that GiftCardRescue.com has closed and ceased doing business.

The company I founded eight years ago and have worked tirelessly to build into a multi-million dollar business was forced to shut down on July 15, 2016 after one of our lenders froze our bank account. This happened without any warning.

In these circumstances, all we can do is to wind down our affairs, including letting our customers and others with whom we did business know of our closing. Gift cards that were purchased before July 15th have all been shipped to buyers. Gift cards received in the mail within the last two weeks from sellers that were yet to be processed are being returned to senders. If you have a pending payment or are awaiting a refund, you will receive a separate communication.

I sincerely regret this outcome and any possible impact to you. I never expected to be in this situation. I would like to thank all our loyal customers over the years, some of whom have been buying discounted gift cards from us since we started in 2008. It was a pleasure to have you all as customers.

If you would like to send any communication to GiftCardRescue.com, please send it to the address below.

GiftCardRescue.com, P.O.Box 6244, Ellicott City, MD 21042

Sincerely,

GiftCardRescue.com

I had really good luck selling a gift card on Ebay. I had it listed here forever. It was a unique grocery store gift card for Long Island.

It was gone in one day on Ebay.

I listed it for half price 100/for 50 and it was gone.

Safe selling, instant money via Paypal.

Yes I finally read BBB, Facebook and Twitter about CardPool. I sold them my UBER GC this morning and after reading all this I am very worried. I went back on the website to cancel the transaction but there is no way to do that so I sent them an email requesting cancellation. Wish I had read more. Unsure of what this company's problems are. Is there anyone trustworthy who does buy Gift Cards now?

cvs will exchange some gift cards/egift for cvs egift cards $10 minium(some are higher) i just sold a $20 footlocker and a $10 bath body works for $26 came within minutes you have to give cc# but a lot easier than ebay
