:cussing: OK.... I give up! Rollerskated w/ my grand daughter on Monday, went to the ER Mon night after falling (showing her I could skate backwards and hit a mat that was on the ground, which made me crash and burn )

So I have a broken scaphoid bone. I'm in a cast that includes my thumb. It's taking me 3 xs the amount of time to do anything. :hammer: This is a total bummer!

:sunny: So sorry to hear about your spill. You aren't too old, that could happen to anyone. Kudos to you for trying!

Is not age...Plenty of sk8ter kidz break things! Just look at the professionals

Eurogamer: What's the most hardcore injury you've ever sustained?

Tony Hawk: My worst injury was about four years ago. I broke my pelvis. That was the hardest injury for me to recover from, it took me a long time to get my body moving the way I was used to. I still feel the effects of it, to be honest.

Tooooo old to have fun????

ROFLMAO!

One is never too old to have fun ... one just has to use all those years of accumulated wisdom to decide which activities won't result in grievous bodily injury!!!

Silly gurlz! :crazytongue: :crazytongue:

PS: You looked better without the cast :crazytongue:

spent 10 min. writing a response & tried to attach a pic & got an error :error: . Even though the file was small it said something about the upload folder being full.

PS: You looked better without the cast :crazytongue:

Anyway, thanks for kicking me in the hand when I'm down! :crazytongue:

Hanging in, but totally frustrating. Just about took me over the edge when I couldn't unfasten my bra last night & knowing that DH is going to be going out of town. I bought a bunch of frozen dinners tonight so that I can keep my pain and frustration at bay.

There are a wide variety of assistive devices to help with the one handed bra issue. Here is one

They should have some at your local medical supply place.

Thx for the info. Having MS and leading a support group, as well as knowing several people who've needed these assistive devices you would think I'd have thought of that. :crazytongue:

Guess it gave me a little bit more perspective into the frustrations that people go through with various disabilities. I'm just so thankful for an understanding, helpful, and wonderful hubby!

I have axonial neuropathy and gave up on bras years ago...and dangerous stuff like forks  You can put your eye out with one of those...:crazytongue:

I was just waiting for one of you guys to jump in on this :booty"
