Today's my lucky day or is it?

I just received a phone call from bluegreen resorts. They said that I have won 4 airline tickets & a $50.00 visa card. The airline tickets are good for a number of destinations including Paris France. I immediately asked if I had to purchase or pay something for these & they said no. I am suppose to go pick up the tickets tomorrow at World Golf Villiage close to my home. When the supervisor got on the phone to confirm my appointed me he said I would have to sit through a 90 minute presentation (timeshare) & would that be okay. I asked again if I had to pay anything for the tickets or make a purchase & he said no. Sorry this is so long but has anyone done this or is this a waste of my time? Thanks for any help.

sounds a little fishy to me. for a win you shouldnt have to sit thru anything. those timeshare people are a nightmare. you may get the card and the tickets for sitting thru the presentation but It wouldnt surprise me if there are alot of restrictions. Dont give em any money.

Thanks 3emkids1 for replying. I feel the same way. Then I did a yahoo search & there were some bad comments. So I won't be going tomorrow.

that sounds like when they try to get you to purchase a timeshare. they offer you something free (usually tickets) in return for sitting through their presentation, and then they try to get you to invest in a timeshare.

exactly

This is a time share deal. They will badger you for at least the 90 minutes and try to get you to purchase
a time share for as much as $20,000 - when you say no they get nasty and keep on talking. The 90 minutes can turn into 3 hours. Will you get the tickets?? Probably, but with strings attached.
BEWARE!!!

Yeah, it's a timeshare. me and my family dealt with them once, never again no matter what they try to offer. They don't quit. They tell you 90 minutes and it becomes 3 or 4 hours. After repeatedly telling them that we would not make an instant decision like that they still wouldn't stop. My husband had to leave the room for a business call and they swarmed me trying to talk me into it without him. He had to finally hit the table and get mad to shut the guy up. Then they give you a free 2 nights somewhere else for the trouble without anyother sales pitch. They deal with a company called spirit incentives. You call and you wait forever on the phone. Then they outright lie when the reservations for this isn't right. Don't ever, ever deal with either of these companies!!!!!, You'll probably go wherever and won't have your reservations.
