Sooo , is it just me, when people ask you about sweepstakes, that 1 question always gets brought 2 the table... "how do u know it's not fake, like one of those banners you see or a pop-up".... grrrr :cussing:... that annoys me... The only answer I give them is..."I am apart of a website where they take the guessing out of it for you, and only post legit sweeps".... If they inquire more... then i'll go more into detail about the "sweeping system"..........Honestly, I feel this is more than a hobby, it's an ART... You have to learn what is best for you and then MASTER it..... right?

Do you get these type of questions from people who think this is a wasted dream....?????

Always. It's the same thing over and over. "How do you win all the time?" or "How do you know which sweeps to enter?" and "I try all the time and never win."

A) I don't win all the time. And when I do win it's usually something small.
b) I keep telling them like you do. SA takes out almost all of the guess work. Get in there. Dig around. You'll learn.
c) You THINK you try all the time. Chances are you play occasionally. I tell them that this, like any other hobby takes a lot of effort if you want results. You can't play a Snickers wrapper here and there and expect a windfall.

I try my bet to divert people to this site but rarely get any true takers. Thier loss I guess. More prizes for us!

I agree...it is an art. You master certain levels of sweeping and get better @ it the longer you do it.

Champ, I don't even bother telling peeps anymore about sweeping because of those questions. They don't "get it" and I don't have the patience to explain it to them. And definately not if I was at the liquor store :booty" "Let me buy my Jager and get the heck outta my way!" Then I'd probably tell them to google it

I am kind of new to sweeping so not too many people ask me. However, when they do, I tell them that it is like a part-time job that I love to go to. You HAVE to put in the work – for limited returns, but when you see that “you are a winner” the rush makes it all worthwhile.

yep. They give you that look like you are off your meds or something. :crazytongue: I pretty much stop talking about it except with my husband and children. Even immediate family and close friends will either be jealous, or act like I'm crazy.

I love the oh, you're so lucky.. Its not all about luck. It isn't. If it was I could only enter 10 a day instead of hundreds and still win. I have tried to get several people into this. I sat down with them, showed them SA, Robo and went step by step with them. Two days later I hear.. I haven't won anything I don't like this.

Fine, quit. Less competition for me. But do not give me that look, or act jealous when I win because you don't want to put the time in.
Drives me crazy.

A few weeks ago, David had a great line to someone who started lecturing him about contests (someone who didn't even KNOW him).

He said very seriously "well, it's better I do contest than go out and do crack again. At lease this rush is legal" and then walked away

 :nono:

He said he wanted to look back at their expression but was afraid he'd start laughing.

I absolutely love my wicked husband :headbang:
