Time Zone Setting Problem

I have had problems recently with sweepstakes saying I already entered today. Tonight I logged on and the time marked for last night's entries is 12:05 AM 4-16. How do I change this? I am on the west coast and entered on 4-15 three hours earlier.

To change the time setting to be correct for your actual time zone, go to:

• 
  [li]Profile[/li]
  [li]Modify Profile (box on left)[/li]
  [li]Look and Layout Preferences
  ~Time Offset:
  Number of hours to +/- to make displayed time equal to your local time.[/li]

This will allow you to adjust the setting to your local time. As to receiving a message saying you already entered a sweep, sometimes that still happens for various reasons...like the sweep is a 24-hour sweep, which often happens for instant wins.

I'm on PST too so I make sure I enter before 9 pm PST because *most* sweeps are on EST.

9 pm PST = midnight EST, so if you enter before 9 pm PST you should be OK.

There are a few that will say they are on PST or CST in their rules - I will post that to the comments if I'm entering it & I use also use POST NOTE as a reminder

The ESPN/DISNEY/GO sweeps are on a weird clock {1 or 3 pm EST each day?} so I treat them as 24 hr or as an EST sweeps,

I am not positive, but I think the time for the sweepscheck is ONLY in central time. When you set your time it is your correct time for the forum etc, but for the sweeps check it only shows up in central time. (I asked about this awhile back and this is what I was told ... )

Ah I see now - I added some IW's at 06:23:09 AM PST & it says: Entered On: 04-18-10 08:23:09 AM
