okay, for the life of me I don't see how you guys do so many sweeps, answer all the posts on here and get it all done, especially when a lot of you have jobs and a lot of other things going on. I am always behind and this week I am really, really behind because we didn't have power for two days. We had a really bad windstorm, and there are something like 40,000 people in our area without electricity still, a lot of wind damage, I know this is nothing compared to what those poor people in the hurrecane are dealing with. I had to run out and grab some things that were blowing away during it, and a bunch of large limbs came down where I was standing about five seconds after I moved. They were fairly large but not huge ones, but they could still have killed me or put me in the hospital, very scary. Oh well, I got sidetracked. I do have the free version of robo form, and my computer is cable, but if anyone has any suggestions to make this faster for me, I need all of the help I can get. It usually takes me a day to get through the sweeps and emails let alone do anything else. I wish I could say congrats to everyone who's winning. Even if you don't see a congrats from me on here, know that I'm happy for all of your guys. Thanks.

sorry about the storm. We had a problem here too over the weekend. no phone/dsl... I was not in a good mood. Although I cant really complain since so many others had it a lot worse.

First thing to enter a lot of sweeps you should get robo pro.. its around 30.00 and it is sooo worth it.. You can save as many sweeps as you want. one click and it goes to the site, fills it in for you and submits.. Its great if you do alot of sweeps. I couldnt do the number I do without it.

It also helps to have a fast connection. Just do the numbers of sweeps you are comfortable with. I rarely do mine in one sitting but break it up through out the day.

It does take lots of time. I get up early and do a couple of hours. Then I work my jobs (yes more than one); workout for an hour; spend time with my husband; then eat dinner. After dinner I go for a hike with my husband, just a half an hour. Lastly, I try to get in a couple of hours of sweeping in at night. If all goes perfect, I am only a tad behind. Makes for a busy but fun and productive day.

I limit myself. Instant wins and daily entries - no more than 3 pages each (60). I just do the ones I'm most interested in and delete some when I get more than that.

My usual schedule is:
1. my instants
2. expiring tomorrow: one entries, dvds, cds, and blogs (just the ones I really want)
3. my dailies + my 24 hour dailies (every other day)
4. then, only if I have time, I do my weeklies (try to do on Mon), my monthlies (hee hee) (near the beginning of the month) or, after mid-month, I start working through all the one entries, dvds, etc. that expire on last day of month
5. look through new today: dailies, weeklies, monthlies, and instants to see if I want to add them to my sweeps
6. sometimes read and reply to forum stuff, sign up for freebies, etc (only occasionally)

Most days are less than 1.5 hours, fit in throughout day when I have time. Of course, I don't win as much as some others, but I'm happy with my wins based on my time input.

Recent wins:

Note: After a long bout of carpal tunnel issues, I got back to this schedule in May this year. August I entered rarely due to vacation and flu.

MAY: 2 DVDs, 2 books, 1 CD, 1 videogame, $15 itunes card
JUNE: 1 DVD, 2 movie tickets, 1 day car rental coupon, numerous subway chips I never used
JULY (hold onto your hat): Batman Xbox system, flying V Guitar, 2 movie tickets, 1 DVD, and a couple of "samples"
AUGUST: $25 Visa, 1 CD
SEPT (as of 9/15): 2 books, 1 DVD, $25 theatre card, $15 itunes, $25 Visa, $50 AmEx, M&M coupon

What's great about contests is that you can do as little or as much as you can make time for!

I also don't have time to get on the forum as much as I'd like. Some days my dailies go unsent. But this is how I do it. I get up about 2 hours before my kids. I do my instants and then if I can fit in 20 dailies, then great. Then, I do what I am supposed to do in the morning, and take care of the house, pets, etc. Then, the kids wake up.

When they go down for nap, I enter the new sweeps for the day--for the one entry, I just enter it right away so that they don't build up. Then if I can, 20 dailies, and leave it at that. Then I again do my mom duties and clean, laundry, sometimes work out, etc. If, at the end of the night, I can enter more, I do, but usually I can't. So I do about 100 per day, I guess, on average. I do my dailies by sweep check date ascending so I can make sure I at least enter them as often as I can.

I tend to hold about 50 sweeps in the daily and 50 in instant, normally. I, too, will go through and delete the ones I don't really want if I start getting up in number.

Last year, I was a little overzealous and had about 100 dailies and 70 instants or something ridiculous like that, in December, and got so crazed and obsessed with it, that I had to start limiting myself.

It's amazing how obsessed I can become when I win something--it's like I think I could win all of them or something...

Anyway--I am so glad to have discovered this site, and love entering things. I wish everyone the best of luck!

You also have to make sure you are using Roboform Pro to it's fullest capabilities. Over time, I've found that most don't. You also have to make sure you regularly clean your computer to keep it running at optimum speed. Being well-organized also is a big factor!

Ohhhhhhh I forgot Voting.
I have to vote for my fellow SA buddies.

I have no idea how some can get them done. I have no kids no job and I still have to do other things around the house. I don't even enter that many but I find myself always having to do things around here.

It takes a lot of time either way and I know I have even cut back on entering dailies.

Good luck

set a schedule as to how many sweeps you are going to enter and stick to it, if a sweep comes up that you have to enter add it. For a lot of people 100 sweep limit is a good start and if you have robo-form pro you can add more and do more as you add them as passcards or put them in folders and seperate them into catagories. But for those who have more time than an hour enter more. The thing is do what feels comfortable to you and as you get familiar with other techniques for entering use them if they save you time, everyone's way of entering is going to be diferent so try and use what works for you.

thanks for the advice everyone. I've heard a lot of people say to get robopro. If I get it, I just hope I can figure out how to use it. I'm very technolodgically impaired, Thanks. :booty"
