Threads sweepstakes

So I know threads is brand new, but I saw my first sweeps requiring its use today! I was on instagram and to enter the sweepstakes you needed to follow the company on threads and repost on threads to complete your entry...the sweeps ends once they hit 10,000 followers on threads.

What do we think? Is threads gonna be a new social media spot for giveaways & sweepstakes?

Yeah, I was shocked to already see a sweepstakes for it and I saw another one today. Threads isnt even a week old and already has giveaways, lol. I'm thinking that now might actually be a good time to hop on since its new and I'm guessing more companies will host giveaways there (at least initially) as a way to get followers.
