If you are new to this site & new to sweeping, please read this thread.
3/3/16; Reminder - newsletters that go out to many many people will NOT have a winning message for YOU unless they ID you specifically by name. Today, the SA newsletter gave a few of the many recipients the impression that THEY had won when it was highlighting that another member had won.
Winner threads posted in the Sweepstakes Winners Circle with various thread titles {ie; YOU WON and/or You are a WINNER } are posted by the people who DID win.
Some newbies are mistaking winner threads in the Sweepstakes Winners Circle with thread titles of YOU WON and/or You are a WINNER as a personal message to them that they won, and they then proceed to post their personal info. These threads are NOT directed at you, but are the OP {Original Poster} posting what THEY won.
REMINDER - you must ENTER to WIN - for Instant Wins, they tell you right away, for regular Sweepstakes/Contests, the Sponsor/JA will either email, call, or require you to check their page to see if you won - each promotion will tell you in their RULES how/when they contact winners.
PLEASE read the stickied threads in the Newbies forum to learn the ropes of this hobby;

NOT WINNING ANYTHING? Tips on WHY:

Use SA correctly. You need to click the links and fill out the entry forms to enter. SweepsCheck is a great tool, but checking it off does not enter you in the sweepstakes.
As to notification? It could be email, by phone, or mailed to you - same as for snail, but you need to keep an eye on your email too

I have moved all the threads to this one, while I contact admin to clarify/correct the SA newsletter

Okay --- It looks to me like there are two reasons why people are confused.
First of all, look at the email that you are all quoting. It is the daily Sweepstakes Advantage newsletter, which most of us are familiar with and are used to the format - it mentions interesting wins, and it mentions some new sweeps. The daily newsletter from Sweepstakes Advantage usually informs us about a big winner, or someone who has won something interesting, or had a bunch of recent wins. In this case, it is telling us about plshearin's win.
Second, unfortunately, there is a mistake, as some of you have noticed. It should say "she won," i.e. plshearin - not "you won."
But, think about it. The winner of the Man Cave or any sweeps does not get notified of their win via the Sweepstakes Advantage newsletter. The winner could have been notified by many other means (email, USPO, certified letter with affidavit, phone, text, etc.), but not by the SA newsletter. No matter how the winner was notified, the winning message came either from the sweeps sponsor or fulfillment agency.
SA lists the sweeps. That is all.
