This is crazy.. im really upset

Ping, I worked as a legal clerk in a law office that did mostly civil suits. You bet we'll go after the doctor but we want his license, not money.

I already have lawyers I know on retainer and ready to take it on with the medical board.

My brother is healing rather nicely and may get to go home tomorrow. He can't fly, doctor is worried about the air pressure breaking the fixed canal, so we are going to drive home in a limo from NYC back to VA. :headbang:

That is after we do some shopping and spend some time in some stores for the next two days. My brother has never been here so we are going to have some fun.

Wait til Michael sees the American Express Black bill from this trip.

Don't worry ~ you both are worth it! I am so glad that he is feeling so much better. I can't imagine hearing my heartbeat for that long ~ that drives me insane. Ear problems are one of the things that can drive a person batty period...I hate that he had to go through that.

My nephrologist is what ever doctor should aspire to be IMO. The first time I went in, he was with me for over 2 hours, and every time I go in now he stays in the room with me for at least an hour. He actually talks to me and listens to what I am saying. He tells me that there is no detail to small for him to listen to (he is very 'House' like in that way), but he is never in a rush. I wish he could be my Primary Care doctor. He makes the big bucks, but it is well worth it! The way I figure it my PCD gets $75-$90 for less than 5 minutes in the room with me on average. Dr. Sobel charges $500.00 per office visit I believe ~ a bargin compared to my other doctors prices. I only pay $15.00 to either because of insurance.

My oldest brother is a doctor and my second oldest sister is a nurse. My sister was been considering going back to Medical school but malpractice insurance is unbelievable.

They both went into the field since my mother died of doctor neglect. She was pregnant with the twins and she kept itching, her skin was turning yellow and was in pain. The doctor made a crack that 'of course you are yellow, you are asian' to her. She collapsed on the floor when she was 8 months pregnant. They rushed her to the hospital and she was in a coma, her liver had failed. You can't even called it failed, it exploded.

They took my sister and brother out and my father had to give the ok to pull the plug, leaving my father with now 6 kids and a pile of bills.

Those were the days where even if you had insurance, hospitals demanded money weeks later. He had to get a lawyer to stop them from, 3 WEEKS later, putting a lein on the house, even though they knew they would get the money. Hospitals use to do that, and then woudl FIGHT to keep the lein on even after they were paid. They can't legally do that anymore.

The doctor settled out of court with my father but it wasn't much.

My mother's best friend came from Thailand to take care of us kids. She and Dad feel in love and now I've got 6 other brothers and sisters from Mom and dad. I don't remember my mother that well, I was only 5 when she died. She is a shadow to me. But my 'step Mom' is really my Mom.

I'm her favorite, of course

my siblings don't come here, I can say that without worry about being beaten up
