the WORST thing just happened to me... so rigged

I was in third place to win $500 in this contest http://h22163.www2.hp.com/#/pinsetters/275/page/1 and I was beating this guy by 100 votes this morning (throughout the day I got about 60 more votes). The contest ended just now at 3 A.M. ET and SOMEHOW he beat me by 7 votes and I was beating him by 70 votes at midnight. THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS! people should send hp an e-mail and tell them he cheated because I find it nearly impossible to get that many votes this late at night :( Going to bed now very upset that I lost!
 
People sometimes pay for votes, I found that out. Sounds like that might have happened. You'll probably never know. But sorry that happened to you.
 
It could have been a strategy - lull you into thinking you had a huge, unbeatable lead, then have their friends vote at the last minute - I've seen that happen before.

As always, it's on the sponsor to police their contest - complaining will only encourage them to NOT hold future contests.
