Does anyone think that the economy is affecting the sweepstakes world? I think it might be because it seems as though there are just not as many sweeps lately. Or it could just be me. I know survey sites have cut back over the years. They tend to offer more sweepstakes entries instead of cash.

Nope, not me. I've been online sweeping for ten years now, and I've been seeing more and more sweeps all the time. My list of saved sweeps has steadily increased through the years. This year, seems to be an explosion of sweeps.

I see more big sponsors participating in sweepstakes that didn't before, and I've won so many great prizes that I can't complain. I'm actually starting to feel overwhelmed this year with how many sweeps there are.

And I thought the Fall is when they all started up the seasonal sweeps - as LDS notes, TONS out there to choose from, I'm just not seeing ones I'm that into as much this year.

I don't have small children & we don't own a house, so we aren't eligible for many sweeps I'd like to enter
But yeah, I am picky LDS - especially after I entered a TBS sweeps on autopilot and ended up with a prize I can't even use!!! :nono: :crazytongue:

That one I didn't enter, because I could buy far more food for far less than the taxes on the grand prize. I don't even know if we have any of those around either! :scratch:

I found that for months, it was harder to win. The stuff I was winning was often disappointing. I wasn't sure if it's a trend or just a temporary change in my luck.
