Sweepstakes Mail In Question

I just recently started entering sweepstakes; primarily car/truck giveaways as it’s the new thing with clothing companies. Just looking for some clarification before I dump a lot of time and money into mail in entries just to get disqualified for over mailing. Many of these company’s run 10x and 20x entry periods. The wording is usually “ To earn 20X entries without making a purchase (100 entries per mail in) follow the instructions above for your mail-in entry and hand-write the words “20X Entry” on the lower right-hand corner of your outer-mailing envelope”.
Do you interpret this as I can mail in 100 separate envelopes entries or I can mail in 5 that equal 100. Most if not all are worded like this so I’d like clarification from some experts!

thesweeper25 - when rules state (100 entries per mail in) they mean 1 mail in entry does equal 100 entries so IF the entry limit is 100 entries then only do 1 mail in
