Sweepstakes/contests on Twitter

Lately, I have been seeing several twitter contests that looked interesting. So I signed up on twitter and have no clue what is going on, lol. Anyway, my basic question is once you tweet something to join a contest and tweet using their @ username I can see that it is listed under my tweets, but when I go to the username "page" (probably not using the right word) I don't see my tweet. Should it be there so I can see it? For clarity I tweeted @fandango to enter a contest, but when I go to fandango's page I don't see where I left a tweet. So I am not sure I entered. I am looking up tutorials now. Any help is appreciated. Also I only want to use twitter for contests do is there a community for sweeps stakes?

I don't know either, but I "think" you use hashtags to "order" them - so they go to the same area so the sponsor can find them? :scratch:

I've won alot of smaller prizes on Twitter. You don't always see what you posted on the other tweeters page. Just look at the tweets you tweeted, if the tweet is there, the other party will see it. Hope this helps.
