SweepsPoP Bug

I just noticed a bug with SweepsPoP. When I use the option to check all my sweeps to change the entry date on all my sweeps everything works fine. However, when I then hit Save my Sweeps it reverts to an earlier date and time, not even necessarily the last date and time that was there before. For me it's really only a problem for 24 hour sweeps, but I didn't know if others and admin were aware of this glitch.

We have 2 options check all SweepsCheck and check all SweepsPop. Check all SweepsCheck should use
the current date and time ( central time ) . This will always mark in central time because it is using the
server time which is in Texas.

So if you are in EST. time like me it will always create a time 1 hour earlier than your local. We could probably re-code this to use local time stamps.

As for not being able to use SweepsPop at all, the code only relies on javascript and the ability to pop open windows.
If you are disabling javascript or pop-up windows this would be a problem.

I am on Central time and so the hour is not the problem. When you do the "Check All SweepsCheck" it changes all the dates to today's date, which is correct. But then, when you "Save all Sweeps" it actually changes the date to a previous date. Today, 8/23 I was saving at 1:30 in the afternoon and it was changing back to 8/21 at 9ish in the morning.

I can't reproduce this problem. I need to know the following.

1. What page or section were you on when this happened?
2. Approx. How many SweepsCheck were you saving at one time?
3. What web browser and version are you using?
4. Does this happen all the time or sometimes?
5. Where there exisiting SweepsCheck's with another date before you unchecked and re-checked?

One thing that may or may not be the problem that maybe isn't clear in the help docs is:

If you have existing SweepsChecks already saved in your Daily or 24Hr Entry list you need to uncheck
and re-check before you save. The uncheck clears the date/time stamp record and the re-check
will replace all with today's date/time.

So, for lists with existing SweepsChecks like daily and 24hr do "Uncheck all SweepsCheck", "Check all SweepsCheck" and then Save.

* This maybe a little clunky with the extra Uncheck step but it should get it done. :)
 
I was not unchecking before rechecking, so that may have been the problem. I'll try again tomorrow using the recommended method. I usually only use Sweepscheck on 24 hour sweeps because I don't have a lot of those. Generally I only open 5 sweeps at a time and I manually check them off as I finish each group of 5, so I only use that option when there are 5 or fewer sweeps on a page.
