Went to the post office today, and had a package waiting-
I had won 2nd prize in the Metamucil IW last week, so I assumed it was it - but why was the box so heavy?
As soon as I got in the car, I opened the box, and thought "Hmm, wonder why they packed it into another box?" Inside the cardboard box was a black box, pushed the foam peanuts away, and it was an XBOX 360!!!!!!! It was the Halo 3 Special Edition XBox 360, and includes lots of accessories that normally (according to my sons) have to be purchased seperately. Headset, wireless controller with both regular batteries and a rechargable battery. Very cool!!
Anyway, my hubby is so excited, and so am I!!!!!!!!! The enclosed slip read that it was from the Mountain Dew/ 7-11 sweep
We had rec'd a Halo 3 t-shirt last week - no clue we had won the game system!!!
We weren't able to buy gifts for the Holidays...but were content to spend it with family and friends. I'm so glad that I won this for my hubby - he is not at all well, and will be able to spend many hours playing this great game system!!
Also in the mail was a Roy D. Mercer CD, a win from BlogCritic!
We have received some other things lately including 2 Ball Caps and a PC game (Nancy Drew - Legend of the Crystal Skull - my hubby has enjoyed playing that, too) I am always thrilled at each package, because I never expect to win anything)
