A win from Coca-Cola! NO!!!
* I did not enter a sweep for Coca-Cola Thailand.
* There is no mysterious organization that enters sweeps or lotteries on your behalf.
* The sweep calls me "Lucky Winner" but never mentions me by name.
* The email came from [email protected] . "cola.co.th" is not Coca-Cola of Thailand, but at least someone put some thought into trying to look like a sponsor.
* The "worldofcoca-cola" link is meant to reassure you. It does lead to the tourist site in Atlanta. It has nothing to do with this 'winning notice' and is meant to deceive.
* For a two million dollar win, I'm told to email my claim notice to [email protected]. Really? Coca-cola uses a web-based mail server rather than their own URL?
* A real high dollar win would send an affadavit and ask you to notarize it.
* Dr. Kittin Llb? Really? Buy a vowel.
* Major grammatical goof-ups: "(2.000, 000) Two Million united State Dollars (62.0304 THB), A blackberry Phone and Apple Laptop, A winning draft will be issued in your name by Coca- Cola Corporation and also a certificate of prize claims will be sent to you along side with your Winnings cheque. You are advice to contact your designated agent, ! who shall by duty, guide you throu "
* I'm asked to provide "A SCAN COPY OF PASSPORT OR LICENSE FOR IDENTIFICATION OF DELIVERY YOUR WINNING." Never, never, never give out this kind of information. Real wins won't ask for it.
There are other red flags here too. If you get a winning notice that looks anything like the 'win' above, delete it. It's a fake.
