Snail Mail Question

When you address your envelopes, do you print or write the address in cursive? When I started doing snail mail years ago, they always stated that you must print but I was wondering if that had changed. Also, do you use address labels or write our your address?

if the rules don't state it I print in block letters, if the rules say nothing for the envelope I usually will use an address label and block print the address to the sweep.
