If anyone else had won a smith and hawkins gift card from the Osmocote Feed to Win Game and you have a store near you, you had better hurry and get it used. I just received my $100 gc. and received an email that smith and hawkins is closing. You can no longer order from the catalogue, which I just got last week, or online. I tried to find stores and the store locater link is gone. There aren't any stores in our area within a hundred miles. I tried minniapolis since I'll be going there next week. Couldn't find one there either. My husband is in Norfolk, Virginia this week, none there either that I could find. I've emailed them and also eprize to see if there is anything else to do. I think it's funny that they send the cards out after they are closed. I am so P.Oed. :cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :cussing:

:wave: I know how you feel. I got my card yesterday too. No store anywhere in this state. I was able to get the store locator to work by just entering a state in the location field. yeah, indianapolis is over a three hour drive. I thought about virginia since my husband is in norfolk right now for his job. We thought that maybe we could call a store there that they might let me give them the number off the card, but I doubt if any store would do that over the phone because of theft. He may be going to Chicago next week so he may be able to go up thru indy instead of his normal route. The answer I got from the Scott company was to email eprize. They told me to read the rules, that no alternate prizes will be given. They suggested that I use it sometime when I'm near a store or sell the card. Not much of an answer. I wonder what even the stores would still have if you find one close enough.
I just used the link and there are stores up around Chicago. So maybe hb will be able to take it with him and go to one up there next week. I hate to ask him though, he usually has very little time on his busines trips. I tried googleing when I did it and I kept getting no access to any links. I figured that the stores were already gone too, but my husband had found that they are supposed to open till the end of the year or they are out of merchandise whichever is first. I know this stuff happens with sweeps but I still feel cheated. I guess I feel more sorry for how many people lost their jobs with the company.
pmeek, I guess maybe the store link was overloaded when the email came out. It seems to be working now. I think it was the same link. I did find a store in Richmond, virginia, the # is 804-330-7600 and also one up by washington DC. I don't have the number for it. Hopefully your close enough to one of these.
