4. How to Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes, you must first become a registered user at
https://www.marlboro.com. If you are not a registered user, go to
https://www.marlboro.com and follow the instructions to register for free. When you register on
Marlboro sweepstakes.com, you will be assigned a unique 9-digit customer number (herein "CCN") and will select, or may be assigned, a user ID that will be associated with your account. By registering at
https://www.marlboro.com you agree to be added to the
Marlboro sweepstakes direct mail mailing list. Once you have registered, log on to
https://www.marlboro.com and click on the link to the "2018
Marlboro sweepstakes Ranch Sweepstakes" Sweepstakes.
Then, follow the instructions to enter the Sweepstakes to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Limit: (1) entry per eligible smoker during the Sweepstakes Period.
Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the CCN used to register will be deemed to be the entrant or player. Email addresses will be used solely for win notification and not for entry. The potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the winning CCN. Emails containing an invitation to enter the Sweepstakes may not be forwarded for use by any party other than the Presenter’s intended recipient.
5. Prize Drawings and Verification of Potential Winners: Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. Administrator is an independent judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Administrator will randomly select five (5) potential winners from all eligible entries received during the entire Sweepstakes Period on or around October 1, 2018.
Each potential winner may be notified by email, mail or phone. Each potential winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release (where legal) within seven (7) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release or provide any other requested information within the required time period (if applicable), prize is returned as undeliverable, if the winner refuses to accept the prize (or any partition thereof) as awarded, or prize or applicable documents are undelivered based on missing information (including, but not limited to, a valid address and valid phone number), potential winner forfeits his/her prize. One (1) alternate drawing will be held, after which un-awarded prizes will remain un-awarded.
Potential Ranch Trip Winners will be required to (i) sign and return a Declaration of Co**mpliance/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form and, where legally permissible, a Publicity Release and (ii) submit sufficient proof of age in the form of a legible photocopy of a valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., a driver’s license) bearing a complete name, address, date of birth and signature (“Prize Documents”). All completed Prize Documents must be returned within seven (7) days (including Saturday, Sunday and holidays) of attempted notification. Potential winners and travel companions must be physically able to travel and participate in Ranch activities without endangering their own safety or that of others participating in the activities, as determined by Presenter in its sole discretion. Presenter requires potential winners and their travel companions to complete a Medical Questionnaire and Liability Release as a condition of participation. Presenter will review the responses with a licensed physician and determine in its sole discretion whether each potential winner and potential winner’s travel companion are capable of meeting the physical demands required to travel and participate in the activities without putting the potential winner’s or travel companion’s health or safety (or the health or safety of others) at risk. In the event a potential winner is deemed unfit to attend and/or participate in Ranch activities or is deemed ineligible for any reason, he/she will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize without any compensation. In the event a potential winner’s travel companion is deemed unfit to attend and/or participate in Ranch activities or is deemed ineligible for any reason, he or she will not be eligible to travel to the Ranch and the potential winner may be allowed to pick another travel companion, time permitting and as determined by Presenter in its sole discretion. Presenter’s decisions are final. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner, time permitting.
Traveling companion of Ranch Trip winner must sign a Release of Liability and submit a legible photocopy of a valid, government-issued photo ID, bearing his/her name, complete address, date of birth and signature. All completed Prize Documents must be returned within seven (7) days (including Saturday, Sunday and holidays) of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification. Traveling companion of Ranch Trip Prize winner must be a legal U.S. resident residing in one of the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia, twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of execution of the Release of Liability, and must comply with all other eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
Any person who has been convicted of a felony, is the subject of a pending arrest warrant, is the subject of a pending criminal trial or sentencing, is on criminal probation, or has been convicted of a misdemeanor or any offense involving (a) any crime against a person, including any crime of violence or threatened violence, domestic violence or sexual offense, (b) theft, (c) robbery, (d) burglary, (e) fraud, (f) forgery, (g) manufacture, use and/or distribution of controlled substances or (h) any crime against public order, including disorderly conduct or public indecency, or is a habitual offender with three or more misdemeanor or summary-type offense convictions is not eligible to win a Ranch Prize Trip (and forfeits the prize) or to be designated as a winner’s traveling companion. Presenter reserves the right to conduct background check(s) on potential Ranch Trip Prize winners, and potential Ranch Trip Prize winner must cooperate with Presenter as a condition of prize award. In addition, Presenter reserves the right to conduct background check(s) on potential winner’s traveling companion(s), and such traveling companion(s) must cooperate with Presenter as a condition of participation. Any false statement by a winner will result in automatic disqualification. Trip winners will be notified by overnight mail approximately four (4) weeks after returned Prize Documents are received, and winner’s and winner’s traveling companion’s eligibility is determined. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Presenter or prize will be forfeited. Winners must be verified two (2) weeks prior to the trip date in order to travel.
