September 21-23 2007
The Sheraton Centre, Toronto ON

New Passes Available
Many of you have sent us your thoughts and questions and we appreciate
the insight making this a better convention for all. Based on your
suggestions we have made one registration change and one addition.
Originally due to alcohol service, registrations were restricted to 19
years of age and up. We have made changes allowing our future
contestors to participate with the Saturday Day Pass (Morning and
Afternoon sessions) lowering the age restriction to 13 years of age
and up. So if your daughters and sons would like to participate,
please send in another registration in their name.

We have also added a new category pass, the Saturday Evening Banquet
Pass. Many have expressed the desire to have their friends and spouses
join them for dinner. We have created this pass and added it to the
list of options on our registration web site. The pass is $106 ($100 +
$6 GST) and includes: a convention show bag, a Gala Banquet dinner,
access to the Winner Room, a Saturday Evening draw ticket, the
opportunity to meet contestors and sweepstakers from seven provinces
and five states, lots of fun and, of course, lucky vibes!

Upgrading Passes
We have already had several people upgrade from a Saturday Day Pass to
a Full Convention Pass. If you also wish to upgrade, please email
Richard Adams directly (richard @ contestorsassociaton.org) to make
the necessary arrangements.

Keynote Speaker
Remember to keep checking the convention website for last minute
updates. We have just confirmed our Keynote Speaker for Saturday
Evening: Eric Swetsky. He is one of Canada's top promotional legal
minds and will be speaking on the most important aspect of any
sweepstake; the rules! There will also be an extended Q&A afterwards
so all your questions can be answered.

Text Messaging Tutorial Added
Since text messaging contests and sweepstakes are growing in
popularity, we have added a Text Messaging Tutorial to the Saturday
lineup. If you are attending, be sure to bring your cellphone for this
hands-on session.

Best Darn Envelope Contest Reminder
For all registered attendees; remember to send us your Best Darn
Envelope! We have extended the submission deadline to September 14th.
So break out those pens, crayons, markers, stickers, paint, pictures
and glue! We have only received a few entries to date so the odds of
winning are very good. No entries will be accepted at the convention.

Share-a-Tip Raffle Canceled
Due to the lack of entries, the Share-a-Tip Raffle has been canceled.

Prize Donations
Not only have we had fabulous prize and show bag donations by some of
Canada's largest companies, we are also getting donations from
individual contestors and sweepstakers. There is no such thing as too
many prizes. If you know a company that would like to donate a prize
or you would like to donate a goodie or two, please contact me
directly (carolyn @ contestqueen.com).
