rethinking about entering Sears Sweeps. Having many points and decided to cash them in discovered the shipping and handling was way more than what I had ordered. What a letdown. Is not worth the effort dealing with Sears. So if you have any points and thinking about cashing them in for something do know the shipping and handling will out weight what you have and you will be paying far more than what you have in points.

True, unless you have lots of points, or unless you can shop at a store.

moombeamer81 - I hit for $150 last June, and combined w/all my little 500/1,000/etc point wins, I had over $200 so I used them at KMART!

Since then, I've built back up to over $70, and plan to do another KMART shop soon.

I looked into using them online & agree on shipping - much easier to go to the store!!!

Well, I finally have quit entering the Shop Your Way sweeps as of today. It's just not worth the hassle for me in order to end up with the 1 in 25,000 odds or so for the few larger prizes that they offer now at any one time. Upon reflection they probably weren't worth entering ever since SYW started with the whole 14 day expiration for accumulated points... although I guess those days were too good to last forever. Thank you for that one Christmas you subsidized several years ago Sears! :)
