Sounds like the scam emails I get all the time! Most likely if it was a win they would be verifying your address instead of asking for it. I'd delete it if I were you!

Yeah I thought so too, it's just some of these sweeps I only enter with my email. But better safe than sorry and kill my computer lol

:sunny: Sounds like a scam if it was a contest they would give you the name of the contest. I get those same emails all the time in my spam box.

What I usually do is copy the info into a google search to see what comes up. Usually, if it is a scam there will be someone else that has posted it. I seem to remember getting an email from a Mary with Fed Ex a couple of weeks ago and searched it and it was a scam.

I would elect to delete it.

There are a few reasons I would feel this "offer" was unofficial. One being that the signature block is hugely lacking. Only signing a first name and no association with any particular company is a tell-tale sign it is not the "true thing".
The language and lack of commitment throughout raises eyebrows, being very suspicious. An "offer" does not constitute a sure win.

Have fun sweeping! Thank goodness there are so many one may enter which are very genuine.

:error: Lots of great signs have been mentioned that this is not a win. The one that wasn't mentioned is that no where in the email does it mention a win. It does mention "OFFER" That is usually the biggest telltale sign for me.

Yep - that's the clue:
