SCAM or REAL?? (Updated comment below) Verizon 5G NFL Tickets --

*SWEEPSTAKES SCAM ALERT!

I received an e-mail today from “TicketManager Admin [email protected]” claiming I won some tickets in the “Verizon 5G Internet NFL Ticket Sweepstakes” and it wanted me to click an RSVP button to respond. But there were a couple red flags, including a tiny “unsubscribe” button at the bottom.

To be on the safe side, I contacted Verizon through their Facebook messenger and the customer service agent said “This doesn't sound like an email that was sent from us. Especially considering the email wasn't sent from a Verizon address. We're also not currently running a promotion for NFL Super tickets.”

Sweepstakes friends, please be aware of this scam and stay safe!
 
Well, someone else that got this same e-mail just told me she thinks it is legit. So maybe the customer service agent didn't know? Now I'm not sure what to think. Anyone else have any input on this one? Deadline for response is today! Thanks!
 
I googled "Verizon 5G Internet NFL Ticket Sweepstakes" with the quotes, and only got 1 link. A list of rules for a sweeps ending Feb. 13 2022. It appears that it was a Verizon sweeps. Invitemanager looks like a ticket company. They do have phone numbers to contact them. It looks like it might be legit.
