Saturday mail

Don't really know why, but about 3 out of every 4 Saturdays the mail person has to honk because she can't fit everything in the box. I've never been able to figure out why Sat is such a good day for "sweep stuff" to arrive. Anyone ???????

In todays mail was, Rachael Ray garbage bowl, 2 coupons for 25lb bags of dog food from Dads, Super Mario Galaxy Wii game from Pringles, Ridgid Tools hat, and a very nice "Simply the Best Chicken" cookbook freebie from Pilgrims Pride. :)
 
:sunny: Maybe it's time for a bigger mailbox! Congratulations! Saturday must be your day.
We have a different mailperson almost everyday, it's contract help here, so there is never any pattern on anything that has to do with getting mail.
 
Congrats! We have community mail boxes and I hate, hate, hate it!! You have no idea how many times I've gone to check my tiny box to find that I can barely open it because our mailman has over-stuffed it with junk mail! :hammer: And my other beef with them is that only half of my neighborhood has these dorky boxes. The other half has normal mailboxes. :scratch:
 
great mail day. sorry to say I havent had that problem recently :cry: keeping my fingers crossed though. :laughing:
 
Ya'll really make me appreciate my mailman even more! If there's too much for the mailbox he'll either ring the doorbell or put it next to the door. I did make him cookies for Christmas to show my appreciation but after reading yall's posts I think I'll have to bake some more cookies or something for him!
