I live in a garage apartment attached to my mother's house (separate entrances.) We have the same address. It is differentiated by the power company (since we have separate heating/cooling systems) by putting APT at the end. However, this is not recognized by the post office, and it is not on my driver's license (I tried, but they said that address with APT wasn't in their 'system,' so they couldn't use it). I have been entering sweepstakes/instant wins for years, and now my mother wants to do it. When entering sweeps, I thought about using 'APT' at the end of my address to differentiate us, but I certainly don't want to do anything 'fishy' and I certainly don't want to do anything that would disqualify either one of us. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
