Hello, I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the SA Spirit that I see below peoples names. I have seen high number and some people at 0. I am at -1 so if I did anything to offened anyone I definetly apologize for that. I would like to know how u raise your spirit. Thank you.

Just click the "Applaud" to raise or "Smite" to lower SA Spirit. I doubt you offended anyone. People are just learning how to use the system. I just clicked the "applaud" for you because you asked a good question. :headbang:
 
Oh my gosh, when did this appear. I swear I haven't noticed it until I read this thread. Wow, either this is a new feature or I am REALLY not the one to hire for a job that requires attention to detail!!!!!!!!! :sleepy:
 
I was trying to figure things out yesterday, so I smited ll1! Then I felt guilty and applauded him twice. :scratch: :laughing: Really, I think people are just trying to figure things out. I think we just need to keep it as a joking thing to have some fun with.

Here are some rules. When ll1 is whining about Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways, everyone should smite him once. When ll1 is eating chocolate, everyone should smite him twice.

Okay, someone is going to have to explain something else to Miss Dork Wad here! What's the star and the silver member gold member stuff. I see that I'm a silver member. How do I get to be a "diamond member" :3some:
 
New Member = 1 star = 0 - 9 posts
SA Bronze Member = 2 stars = 10 - 99 posts
SA Silver Member = 3 stars = 100 - 999 posts
SA Gold Member = 4 stars = 1000 posts and up
 
Where's my stars. :cry: I only have 1. yes, im gunna be a big baby about it. I have worked hard to get my post that high in such a short time.well not really but thats not the point. :laughing:
 
I'm still learning the new system too. I have noticed that it is possible for someone to have a Gold rating but only only star. However, I've also seen a Bronze with two stars. I don't know what it all means yet but it should be fun figuring out what this new forum can do. :sunny:
 
I was able to fix the stars. There are many permissions with this new forum and one was overriding the other. :eat:
 
SA Spirit is a fancy name for reputation. Some sites use reputation. It is fun but can be abused. I have been with SA many years it seems but my records on this account go only to 2005. I guess I will now have to post a lot of inane comments to be a gold member.
 
the SA spirit is what other members give you when they click aplaud also it is what is taken away when they click spite
 
I Smite ll1 once a day unless I am eating chocolate, then I smite him twice a day! :tongue2: :laughing:

I'm not sure the posting stars are a real sense of someone especially when part of the time people are just posting congratulations.
