SA Search question

1. I'm seeking tips and tricks to use the SA sweep search option most effectively. For example today I was trying to search for extraTV sweeps; put "extraTV" in the search box and received 0 (zero) hits. When I searched for "extra" I received 40 some hits, but (of course) got all sweeps with extra in the title.

2. Is there a search option for topics in the SA forum? So I can find answers to questions like this that may have been previously addressed.
 
1. I remember a post (I think kellyb808 quoting gsw on how to search) but I can't find it! I'll keep searching! :laughing: I do remember that searching often works better with less info, and just key words. I think the example I learned from was instead of searching for "guitar" to search for the brand or model, which is more specific.

2. When I search the Forum, I start on the index page and near the top, center are two boxes. The left side is a drop-down menu preset on Current Sweeps and the right side is blank. I choose Sweepstakes Forum and put a key work in the blank box. I'm looking at Sweeps Plus, but it may be the same or similar for SA.

I think you already know this info. For me, searching is tricky and I sometimes try a few powersearches before I find what I'm looking for. Sometimes, I use Google Search then get the correct name of the sweeps and come back and powersearch expired sweeps again.
