Since we got in the heated debates over the politics this is going to be a light-hearted look at the campaigns. What is the funny side that you are seeing on the internet?

I like this one ~ Biden will drop out of the campaign to make room for Hilary to counter Palin

Of course it is mostly in chat rooms and such, but it is still funny...

LMAO!! I liked that one too. I read that Lens Crafters was backing her and trying to get her to be their spokeswoman. I don't know for certain but that made me LOL  And I didn't bother trying to verify it :booty"

LOL... what a bunch of idiots! (both sides). I went and checked out that link. Ya sure that isn't a support forum for unsuccessful lobotomy patients?

(of course the idea of drilling Obama appeals to me, but I can't see the Demo's doing it! Unless they could figure out how to blame it somehow on radical 'Beaver Party' Canadian terrorists...but then they would have to put John Candy on the ticket!)

:crazytongue:

PS: I don't get involved in political discussion ... no matter how much I'm baited ... only replied to this because it was SOOOOOO goofy. I've always found most folk leave their brains still soaking on the bedside table when they set out to discuss politics.)

:crazytongue:

Hey ~ leave poor ol' John Candy out of the bunch of loons ~lol!!! RIP John

This is a good site.. http://chronicle.com/review/brainst...political-rumorsconspiracies-of-2008-thus-far

My favorite of course is number one on this list..

1. Obama as Antichrist. This one has been making the rounds quite explicitly over the last week or so, so it seems sensible to begin here. With Obama’s seemingly mesmeric charisma and worldwide celebrity, there are many detractors who want to link him to this prophesied Biblical figure. The Antichrist is supposed to be so seductive that he fools the entire world into thinking he is some kind of harbinger of peace. Instead, he is a Trojan Horse for the devil’s attempt at destroying humankind. When critics say his supporters have “drunk the Kool Aid,” they are only voicing a softer and secular version of this same suggestion about people being wildly delusional vis-à-vis Obama.

and number 8 is just as ridiculous.

8. The 9/11 Plan. A powerful and secret cabal of powerful and wealthy Americans will organize a major attack on the United States before the election to either (i) shore up McCain’s advantage as function of his military background or (ii) provide the pretext for Bush to call off the elections altogether and put FEMA in place to run the country indefinitely. I’ve heard the first one more often than the second, but the latter’s advocates are much louder.

I think I'd like Obama's seductive, kool-aid tricks
