Here's a link to an article about the 5 best form filling programs:

You might also look at lastpass. Here is a comparison (by lastpass) on the free vs premium versions:

Here is a review of lastpass by cnet.com:
LastPass Password Manager - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

I rarely download any software without looking for cnet.com reviews first, and I usually download through cnet as well.

I believe the download you'd want at cnet is the one to the left of the article, not the one at the top of the article. If in doubt, go directly to the lastpass home page and find the free download there.

I used Google autofill for years without having downloaded Google Chrome. All you need is the Google toolbar. It works with IE just fine. As I recall, Google autofill doesn't completely fill in some forms as it never asked you for the information. It didn't have an age or date of birth field so it can't fill in this information. There might be other missing fields as well. It's been a long time since I've used it, and I can't remember all the missing fields.

When I downloaded Roboform I had to choose which browser I wanted it connected to - I could only choose one.

You might try uninstalling Roboform and then choose Firefox as your browser when you reinstall Roboform. That might solve your problem.

By the by, all versions of Roboform including the most current, are free if you limit the number of passcards. I think you're permitted 6 passcards and you can still get Roboform free.

while not free, I'd recommend checking out sweepstakes ninja. (sweepstakesninja.com). Very good for entering 100's of sweepstakes in minutes.

Yup!

He's the owner.

Since my prior comments I've downloaded the Opera browser. I then updated Roboform to it's latest version. I used Microsoft IE for the download and update. The Roboform update didn't download it to Firefox, but it did put it in Opera. In the upper right hand corner there's a very small green Roboform icon or symbol. We click on the symbol and then our names appear (my wife and I). Click on your name and it fills out forms exactly as it does in IE

All of the information in Roboform was current so I didn't change anything when I upgraded to the latest version. Roboform imported of all our information to the new version so we were good to go as soon as the Roboform update was complete.

So far, I like Opera. There is a learning curve involved as there is with any new browser but it's very fast. Sweeps that I couldn't enter in IE and had to use Firefox (manually) I can now enter using Opera & Roboform.

Here's a review by CNET. There's also a download (green) tab at the top of the review. You'll also find more info. if you Google Opera Browser.
