Remember when phones all had cords?

ANd somewhere along the way you learned exactly how long they were.. and you stood just past that so your Mom couldn't wack you??

Anyone else have a fun "remember when" to add??

I remember it was 3mnkids1 thread
Remember when they would tell you on TV not eat the snow because they had been doing nuclear testing?

Remember when they told you not to eat mud and now they say it's good for you.

Remember when there were party lines on the phones and you could listen in to someones conversation. Oh and they could listen to you also. We had a 4 party line.

Remember when TV first came out and it was only black and white.

Give me time I'll remember more but I'm geting older and my memory won't let me remember as much LOL.

When my sister was little, she found out her mother moved to California and she asked her Mom if she went by covered wagons.

My sister is now 46 and a few years ago HER DAUGHTER asked if they had electricity when she was a kid...

Karma, Sis.. ...Karma

(and yes, to any other Buddhist on here, I know that is not real Karma... give it a rest! LOL!)

 Funny thing is my parents didn't have electricity when they were young. Times sure have changed.

Remember when there were albums. I bet a lot of kids have no idea what albums are. Oh and 8 track tapes.

Remember when....

you went outside the minute you woke up and stayed gone until dinner.. no checking in, no cell phones, just kids out having fun.

you would get in a fight at school and say meet me after school and either they did or they didnt.. now days the one waiting for you would be the police.maybe the FBI and the swat team too

kids didnt go in car seats but just rolled around the back seat..

Remember when people used to play lawn darts in their yards? Those darts could kill someone if they got impaled with one...and nobody seemed to care?

Remember when gasoline was .49 cents a gallon, and new cars were only $3500 or so?

Remember when people walked home from school or stayed out until dark, sometimes alone, and nobody was worried about being kindnapped?

Remember when there were no computers in school, only duplicating machines which teachers used to produce test and quiz papers? And didn't the ink smell good?

Remember when we used to say the pledge of Allegance in school and I do remember the smell of that ink.

Remember when there were no cell phones and we all still managed to survive.

Remember when you never had to wear helments to ride a bike and no one died.
