I have a question for anyone who can help me. Jan. 17th I got a call and email telling me I won 2nd prize in the Aeropak sweeps(one entry,ended 12/15/10) which is a $250.00 gift card. The woman told me by phone and email I should receive the card in about 4 weeks. 1 week ago I left a message with Lisa letting her know it had been 6 weeks and wanting to make sure I hadn't misunderstood or if there was a problem,etc. I was very polite and appreciative in all communications with her. Today is now 7 weeks and I am wondering what to do. Do I keep waiting,call or email again? I dont want to seem greedy or ungrateful to them or anyone but this is the biggest thing I have ever won and I dont want to miss out on my prize! any answers would be a big help!

I think that waiting one week after your last attempt at communication is long enough. Maybe you can try again using the same approach, a polite approach, stating it just as you did here! That is a great win, and I don't blame you for looking forward to it. Possibly add in the email/voicemail to Lisa "I'm concerned that perhaps you didn't get my vm/email on_______". If they contacted you as a winner, I think you're fully entitled to ask the question. Again express your enthusiasm as being a winnner!
Personally, I've never been in this situation, but I do think this is how I'd handle it if I were. Anyone else want to weigh in?

:headbang: Anytime that I have not received a prize in the stated time, I shoot out an email asking when I might expect it. If I receive a reply I wait the amount of time they tell me it will ship. If I still haven'treceived it, I send a weekly email or phone call until I get a new response. Don't give up!

I never received a $100 Shell card from a Ryan Seacrest sweepstakes last June. The person handling it is no longer handling it, claimed she passed it on, and pretty much blew me off after that; and I never get a response to my email inquiries directly to Ryan Seacrest.
If they have a facebook page, could post it on there you have not got it yet, they will sometimes answer that because they don't like negative comments on their facebook page, or at least ask for your e mail to respond, work for me and others one time, the prize was late but at least we got a response and I did get the 50 dollars

a couple of years ago, i was "shorted" @ $300 worth of prizes from a well known company...2 or 3 gentle reminder emails later..i was sent @ $5oo more prizes....tact first...anger later!!
I was deleting my old email last month and came across a winning entry email from ESPN where I never received the prize. The contest had ended last June. I checked my ESPN account and for some reason they did not have my address or phone number. I corrected my account, sent customer service an email with the copy of the winning notice and after 2 follow up emails, they FEDEXed my prize (a sport bag) to me the next week.
Thanks for all your replies. I did finally contact the promotion gal last friday and she was very nice and checked on the prize and told me they are still waiting for the sponsor and that it "is still in the works" and I should be receiving an email from the sponsor and from her as the promotion "middle man" sometime very soon. I guess we will see! Again thanks to all for your helpful answers and good luck on all your entries!
