Received a Brinks Prepaid Mastercard, is this a prize win?

In the mail this morning I found a Brinks Prepaid Mastercard. It looks like a debit/credit card but says that it is a prepaid reloadable card. It has my name on it and needs to be activated but I don't know where it came from! It doesn't say anything about any sort of amount loaded onto it already like a regular gift card, and I looked online to see what info they would need to activate it and one thing is my SS# which is not something I am at all comfortable with.

My problem is I never requested/ordered one and I don't know if it is something that can be given as a gift card to someone else. I did recently sign up for swagbucks and bing and answered some surveys on them, so I wonder if I got it because of that? Or a giveaway that already gathered my contact info and so didn't email/call me to let me know? I don't want to miss a prize, but I don't want to have my SS# stolen either. Any help or experience with these would be wonderful, thanks!

Is there a number on the back of the card you can call for more info? If so, try that?

What kind of information came with it? It sounds like it could be an advertisement, for you to sign up and open an account.

Definitely find out more before you give any personal information.

For prepaid cards, I have never had to give my SS#.

Does it use words like, "you are eligible," "you have been pre-approved," or "offer"?
