Reader's Digest Sweepstakes - 2nd Time In A Row I've Had A Problem With Them

Entered a Readers Digest sweeps a few weeks ago. Shortly after, I get a confirmation email not for entering the sweeps but a confirmation for an order of a book advertised on the website! No, I did not order the book and did not opt into anything. I then immediately contact customer service. I get an email from them about a week later saying how they just got my email and it's too late to stop the order and that I need to refuse the shipment and give it back to the postal delivery man. Well, I can't do that since I live in a building where a security guard takes all the packages and signs for them. Now here is the odd "coincidence"...This is the second time in a row that this exact same scenario has happened to me with Readers Digest in the past month with two different sweepstakes! Yes, I did not opt into or order anything. Yes, both times, they conveniently didn't receive my request to cancel it until it was too late to stop shipment. Needless to say, I'm very, very disappointed with the way RD does business. If they weren't such a well known company, I'd be temped to call them scam artists.
 
you do know they are in bankruptcy? And they have multiple claims against them by creditors for non payments of bills.
