I don't seem to be doing as well as most. Think it may be because of my e-mail (sweepsadonly@aol). I'm wondering if maybe it's a deterrent?

I have seen some sweeps mention something about a problem with an aol email address but don't remember what they said about it and haven't seen it very many times (or I would probably remember). :crazytongue:

:sunny: All I know about aol is that when I started sweeping, I had lots of problems getting confirmations and probably win notifications from aol. I switched and haven't had any problems. That was years ago, so I don't know if it has improved. If you want to make sure, start an account at yahoo and start using that as your sweeping email.

I have used an AOL email for over thirty years on my sweepstakes with no problems. I win between 100 to 150 sweeps a year. They are mostly small wins with a few biggies thrown in.

30 years? Isn't that before Al Gore invented the internet?

Well not Al Gore,

Aol was founded in 1985 by Quantum Computer Services. The men that made up this team were Steve Case,Mark Seriff and Jim Kimsey. Aol became the main way to search the internet for many years.

 Would you believe you once could enter sweepstakes without a computer? :sunny:
In fact I did not have a computer until I won one.
