problem with $25 Mastercard prepaid code / Camel win

I won one of these $25 prepaid codes with Mastercard from a camel sweepstakes IW

I'm having a difficult time trying to redeem it! There is a balance on it of $25 but I can't use it online it seems

tried to purchase a restaurant gift card on Walmart.com but they won't accept it

won't go through on amazon.com because they charge a few dollars shipping and it goes over the $25 and there are no options for me to *add on* another payment

This is very frustrating

Has anyone had success in using this code to buy stuff?
 
Read the back of the card or any paperwork that came with the card. There are cards that are good for only certain type of transactions. I won a visa gift card that had restrictions. The card only worked in certain type of purchases. It was unclear what those purchases were. I called the cust service number on the card and received clarification.
 
I think on Amazon if you buy a gift card for yourself, add it to your account then it will allow you to pay the balance thru another source.
 
I was able to use mine on amazon but my total was less than $25. I was hoping to buy something around $50 since I have 2 gift cards but you only have the option of entering in the info. for one credit card so I wasn't able to. I think online retailers should give us the option to pay with multiple gift cards/payment options.
 
With these kinds of cards you have to come as close to $25 as you can. No spitting the order and no going over. You will lose a couple of dollars, but it's better that nothing.
 
On Amazon.com you can buy an Amazon gift card for yourself to be added to your Amazon account. These can be purchased in any amount from $5.00 up. If you buy yourself an Amazon gift card, and add it to your account the funds never expire and they don't have fees ... it is there for whenever you want something. It also gives you the option of paying the extra with a 'real' credit card. Say you have a $10 and a $25 card won from a sweeps, buy yourself a $10 and then a $25 amazon gift card. They will send you code numbers in an email. Apply the amounts to your account giving you $35 in your Amazon account. Then figure out what you want to buy. If it cost less than $35 you will have a balance in your amazon account, if it is more they then give you the way of paying the balance with your credit card. I put all my $25 or less gift cards into amazon ... then I use the money in there to buy birthday gifts for my grandkids.
