Prizes that never come! Sweepstakes Etiquette

Hi! I am wondering if this happens to others. It has happened to me a few times. I am wondering what you do when sponsors don't send the prize that has been won. This time I won a sweepstakes that included a lot of sponsors and prizes. I received some of the prizes but the majority have not come. The host of the sweepstakes has been very helpful in trying to help but I am feeling like I am annoying. The host has not said or even hinted at that. I am wondering how often I should check with her or is it alright to go directly to the sponsor. I am just wondering on etiquette and what others do. In the past, there have been a handful of prizes I haven't received. I asked a few times but then gave up. Thanks for the assistance and/or advice in advance!

cindiizzy1 - Short answer - I try to give it another week when I worry about not getting a prize, but since 2004, there have only been a handful I ever worried about because I had to do an affy & they were big prizes.

I also only recall only 1 never received [webcam] from an eprize caffeine promo, that were designed for smaller sponsors to widen their pool of possible customers.

Is there an etiquette on how to handle this type of issue? Is it alright to contact the Sponsor or should it go through the Host?

I always dealt w/whomever contacted me, so there would be no confusion, but, I have posted to FB pages for clarification on rules/etc.

AFAIK, sponsors contract a JA {Judging Agency/Agencies} to implement & fulfill promos, so contacting the sponsor would be an exercise in frustration - think left hand clueless on what right hand doing
