I was grand prize winner of the October Free Gun Friday Sportsman’s Warehouse Ultimate Package-”Sweepstakes and notified February of this year.
Prizes:
One (1) Sportsman’s Warehouse Gift Card. Retailvalue of $1,000.00 One (1) SIG Sauer M400 TREAD AR Pistol. Approximate retail value of $951.00 One (1)SIG Sauer 226 Legion Pistol. Approximate retail value of $1,413.00 One (1) Sightmark Core Shot A-SpecLQD. Approximate retail value of $179.99 Two hundred fifty (250) rounds of Black Hills HoneyBadger 9mmAmmo. Approximate retail value of $300.00 Two hundred fifty (250) rounds of Black Hills .223 Ammo.Approximate retail value of $300.00 Sportsman’s Warehouse Prize Package worth $792.51. Totalapproximate prize value of all prizes is $4,936.50
They sent the ammo, and Sig Sauer is trying to fulfill the gun order but they claim pandemic has put them way behind. I spoke to SigSauer directly in September but they only said they were working on order.
The other prizes have not been received.
The lady who I have been corresponding with has ignored my last 2 emails sent in September. So I have no updates.
Am I being impatient? How would you handle this now that 8 months have elapsed?
Would you contact the company directly via phone to inquire the status. The company is Athlon Outdoors, Inc.d/b/a Athlon Media Group (“Sweepstakes Agent”)
